The X-CASE X30 cases combine a slim, sporty profile with an ingenious expandable design. Each case offers 20 litres of capacity in its compact configuration and expands to 30 litres when additional luggage space is required.

That means up to 60 litres of total storage capacity, with 50% more volume available in seconds.

When extra space isn’t needed, simply return the cases to their compact configuration for a narrower profile, improved aerodynamics and agile handling.

Optional Vehicle-Key-Compatible Locks

For even greater convenience, optional codable lock cylinders allow the luggage system to be locked and unlocked using your motorcycle’s original vehicle key.

The security lock cylinders can be individually coded to match the vehicle key before installation. Coding instructions are supplied and the original vehicle key is required during the coding process.

This eliminates the need to carry a separate set of luggage keys.

The model-specific Wunderlich X-RACK Light provides the mounting platform for the X-CASE X30 Vario cases while maintaining the M 1000 XR’s sporty character.

Its compact, L-shaped construction sits discreetly alongside the motorcycle and positions the cases close to the bike’s centre of gravity. This helps preserve predictable handling while keeping the overall silhouette as narrow as possible.

The X-CASE X30 cases attach securely to the carrier using a robust three-point mounting system.

Important Compatibility Information

The X-RACK Light carrier supplied with this luggage system is designed specifically for use with the X-CASE X30 cases.

X-BAG soft luggage must not be used with this configuration. The available clearance from the exhaust is insufficient, meaning the bags and their contents could be exposed to significant radiant heat and potentially damaged.
