- in the event of a fall or tip-over, the panniers provide a protected space for the legs, but the exposed pannier lids are, understandably, vulnerable to damage
- pannier lids often get scratched or damaged in public car parks – or due to a moment’s inattention when manoeuvring in a garage
- Suitable for both sides, i.e. right and left
- The pannier lid comes fully pre-assembled, including protective fittings and plastic handle recess

- Replacement is simple – you only need to loosen the hinge band screws – new self-locking nuts for mounting the new lid are included
