Function and Product Features
- The robust installation kit enables the mounting of the Wunderlich engine protection bar in combination with the following valve cover & cylinder protection guards
- Wunderlich valve cover & cylinder protectors #35610-002 and #36610-002
- The wider valve covers or the valve cover protection from the BMW accessory programme
- The two halves of the engine protection bar are each offset outward by 14 millimetres, creating the necessary space for the protectors
- The installation kit replaces the screws and sleeves included with the original engine protection bar
- Easy installation

With this installation kit, the right and left sections of the engine protection bar can each be moved approximately 14 millimetres further outward. This adjustment creates the necessary space to combine our valve cover & cylinder protectors #35610-002 and #36610-002, as well as the wider valve covers or valve cover protection from the BMW accessory programme with our engine protection bar.
We design the distance between our engine protection and the original valve covers to be close-fitting but with a safety margin. This achieves maximum protective effect while maintaining balanced overall design. However, this close-fitting installation does not allow for the combination with the components mentioned above. This installation kit makes it possible with minimal effort.
