Unfortunately, it has become known that the TFT displays are simply plugged in and secured with three delicate retaining rings. This securing can easily be overcome without tools with a short tug on the TFT display. As a result, reports of stolen TFT displays are increasing, often accompanied by collateral damage to the bike, as thieves are anything but careful. This is doubly annoying: without a TFT display, continuing your journey is not possible. On a trip abroad, this can be especially inconvenient. In addition, replacing the instrument as a central, complex control unit is extremely expensive. Our theft protection makes it difficult for potential thieves: a fourfold screwed frame secures the TFT display and reliably prevents it from being removed from its original mount. It helps to avoid annoying situations, expensive replacements and frustration by clearly signalling to unauthorised persons (and this type understands immediately) that a theft attempt is pointless. This can also reduce the risk of secondary damage.
