- Wunderlich ULTIMATE tank protection bars are uncompromisingly designed for protection during adventure riding
- They offer maximum protection for the exposed water radiators, tank side panels, front end including auxiliary lights, and to a limited extent, the tank side bags
- The two prominent, outward-facing tube sections help prevent rollovers
- The cleverly integrated RackBase acts as a visual highlight and simultaneously serves as the upper mount for the front tank protection bar and rear reinforcement strut – it also functions as a storage platform or compact rack with integrated lash points
- The structure is designed to evenly distribute external forces and moments to appropriate mounting points on both sides, reducing peak stress and torsion
- An additional mounting point is integrated into the tank side panel
- The rigid tube structure and use of selected materials ensure maximum protection performance

- Protection bars: Precision stainless steel tubing with high tensile strength and elongation at break, crafted with care. Tubes are formed on CNC bending machines and cleanly welded. The stainless finish is bead-blasted and electropolished.

This Wunderlich ULTIMATE tank protection bar is specially designed for adventure riding and provides reliable protection not only for the tank, but also the fairing, front end and the highly vulnerable radiator units. In combination with Wunderlich’s rollover protection, it forms a comprehensive protection concept that enhances passive safety. In case of a fall or drop, forces are distributed optimally across the robust structure and onto reinforced mounting points, reducing force peaks and torque loads. Visually, it integrates perfectly with the bike’s design and accentuates its rugged character. The tank bar system is constructed using 25 mm precision stainless steel tubing, CNC-bent and cleanly welded.
