We manufacture our seats with a distinctive, ergonomic 3D contour that creates perfect unity between rider, passenger and their BMW motorcycle. The shape and tilt of the carefully crafted seat core support the natural, ergonomic posture of the pelvis. This integration results in a riding experience that is both relaxed and active – and without a doubt, sitting comfortably improves active safety. Because rider and passenger have different requirements, BMW specialist Wunderlich produces its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with a contour tailored to each. While the ergonomic 3D contour is a common feature, the details differ to suit each need. For both: the proven, ergonomic 3D shaping, and the contour and tilt of the seat core support the natural, comfortable pelvic position.

Thanks to the thoughtful construction, the padding does not sag, and seat pressure is evenly distributed over a wider surface – which significantly reduces localised pressure on the rear. Pleasant! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves pressure on the sensitive coccyx. These seats provide excellent support and confident control, especially during heavy braking. Who hasn’t experienced the pillion pushing forward unexpectedly during hard braking? With Wunderlich’s specially developed support contour, those scary moments are a thing of the past.
