When using a navigation system or another device on a motorcycle, the question arises of how to achieve permanent power supply. One can, of course, route a cable directly from the battery to the cockpit area, but this is laborious and time-consuming. Additionally, this type of power supply must be secured by a fuse. Furthermore, the battery will quickly drain if you forget to turn off the device after switching off the ignition.

Our QUICK CONNECT wiring harness provides a professional, safe solution. It is connected via Plug & Play using pre-configured connectors at the original BMW onboard power connection, replacing the existing DIN or USB socket, and is smartly integrated into the vehicle’s power supply. Once installed, for example, two Wunderlich USB dual sockets (#45011-200) with a total of four charging ports, or the original BMW onboard socket (DIN or USB) in combination with our dual socket, can be connected using the designated connectors of the QUICK CONNECT wiring harness. That’s it!

With this solution, the power supply to the two sockets is automatically interrupted when the motorcycle's ignition is turned off, so the battery cannot drain unnoticed. The protection (max. 5 A) is provided by the on-board network. And, the other DIN and USB sockets remain free for the use of other consumers!
