For a play-free, stable and permanently secure connection of our passenger seats for the BMW R 1300 GS, we have opted for the use of a one-piece base shell. Only the precisely fitting construction with fixed positioning of the passenger seat ensures the secure fit our customers expect.

We manufacture our passenger seats with a characteristic ergonomic 3D contour. The shape and inclination of the elaborately crafted seat core support the ergonomically beneficial natural pelvic posture. A special feature of our passenger seat is the support contour integrated in the front area of the seat, which provides additional secure hold when braking. Integrated into the motorcycle in this way, riding becomes simply relaxed and therefore active. And without doubt, relaxed seating creates an added level of passive safety. This AKTIVKOMFORT seat features the latest ThermoPro technology, whereby the seat surface temperature in midsummer under direct sunlight is up to 25°C lower compared to conventional cover materials. We also offer a matching rider seat.

AKTIVKOMFORT seat with adjustable seat heating Smart Plug & Play

Smart Plug & Play: This seat with comfort heating replaces the original seat. The prerequisite is that the original seat is also equipped with seat heating and that the motorcycle has the corresponding power supply.

Before installing the seat as usual, only the electrical connection to the motorcycle’s on-board system needs to be established. This is done using the appropriate pre-assembled Plug & Play cable!

The individual adjustment of the desired heating level (Off, Heating Level 1, Heating Level 2) can be made via an easily accessible switch located on the right-hand side of the seat in the direction of travel, whereby the rider is informed in the on-board menu when the heating element of the passenger seat is switched on.

The AKTIVKOMFORT heating element consists of a robust fleece into which a fine yet extremely tensile and resistant stainless steel filament heating wire is integrated and laid in numerous windings. This elaborate, durability-oriented and hard-wearing design ensures even warmth perceived as particularly pleasant, significantly enhancing seating comfort and providing the necessary elasticity required to permanently compensate for the high stresses resulting from movement, stretching and compression of the seat cushion when mounting and riding.

The “sagging” of the padding is reliably prevented thanks to the well-conceived construction and seat pressure is evenly distributed over a larger surface area, resulting in noticeably reduced specific pressure load. Pleasant! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves pressure on the sensitive coccyx. They offer perfect support and active, secure control during dynamic riding, especially when braking: who doesn’t know the moment when, as a passenger, you suddenly have to brace yourself during heavy braking? With Wunderlich’s specially developed support contour, these frightening braking moments are a thing of the past.
