Our EXTREME cases and top cases are anything but mass-produced – quite the opposite! They are manufactured for us in small series, each one meticulously handcrafted in the workshops of experienced master craftsmen. These specialists, like ourselves, place the highest value on quality and precision.
This effort is worthwhile, because with an EXTREME case or top case you receive a practical, functional tool of lasting quality. We are confident that the carefully selected materials and the excellent workmanship will bring you long-lasting satisfaction and make you forget the time invested in handcrafted production.

Function and product features
- EXTREME regular – proven case size with a total storage capacity of 85 litres
- Top loader: Easy to load from above
- Lids can be opened forwards or backwards, or completely removed
- Stainless steel locking system including discreetly embossed Wunderlich brand logo
- The version in untreated aluminium appeals to purists who appreciate the original, uncoated and robust material

- Lashing eyes on the lid for additional luggage (e.g. Wunderlich ELEPHANT DRYBag #44153-000 or BagPacker II #20790-202 and -302)
- Replaceable corner protectors made of impact-resistant plastic
- Each case requires one pair of locking cylinders
- The locking cylinders are protected from dirt, dust and moisture by removable rubber caps
- Please order matching locking cylinders and keys separately
- The cases fit the original BMW Adventure case carriers – for all other GS models we offer specially designed carriers

Suitable case carriers
Our EXTREME cases fit the original BMW round-tube case carriers (for models BMW R 1250 GS and Adventure, R 1200 GS LC and Adventure, F 900 GS and Adventure, F 850 GS and Adventure). For all other GS models, we offer corresponding EXTREME carriers as follows:

The Wunderlich tool design
Whether for a trip along the motorway, to the North Cape or across the desert – these sturdy, lightweight and stylish EXTREME aluminium cases will accompany you through thick and thin! Mounting them on the carrier is straightforward thanks to the quick-release system. They are absolutely dustproof and waterproof due to their special sealing system. The consistent use of only high-quality materials ensures the longevity of our EXTREME luggage system. The 1.5 mm aluminium sheet with reinforcing embossing (weight-optimised yet robust), stainless steel fittings, replaceable all-round corner protection and protective caps for the locks all contribute to this durability.
Additional luggage can be safely strapped to the lashing eyes on the lid – for example, our Rack Pack bags. The case lids are equipped on the inside with practical luggage nets as standard, ideal for items that should always be within easy reach: rain gear, tools or a first-aid kit.
After opening the two lockable hinges positioned at the front and rear, the lid can be completely removed and the cases can be conveniently loaded from above. If only one of the locks is opened, the other acts as a hinge, allowing the lid to open forwards or backwards, secured by a retaining strap.
The untreated aluminium version appeals to purists who appreciate the natural, uncoated and robust character of the material.
