- These ULTIMATE plus supplementary bars complement the ULTIMATE tank protection bar #13215-002 and provide additional protection for the Adventure's flanks
- They act as a coupling element between the rack base and the lower tube support, ensuring added stiffness in the tube network
- The forces and moments are distributed across two additional mounting points on both the right and left sides
- The shape of the supplementary bars further aids in the elastic absorption of peak stress loads
- This additional protection increases passive safety and reduces the risk to the rider's legs in the event of a fall

Note
The side bracket included with the supplementary bar replaces the side bracket of the tank protection bar. It connects the tank protection bar with the supplementary bar, serving as a shared side bracket for both.
