Wunderlich Exhaust Protector – black
For the silencer: Ingenious protector with seamless design integration
This protector shields the standard exhaust silencer of your BMW R 12 G/S in the event of a tip-over or slide. Two dynamically positioned polygonal cut-outs complete the integrated design.
We’ve ensured a robust construction and generous material thickness so that, in the event of an incident, the protector keeps the silencer safely distanced from the ground for optimal protection.
The protector is extremely easy to install. It’s made of heat-resistant silicone elastomer reinforced with a stainless steel inlay.
This allows it to be simply slid over the end cap of the silencer like a band and precisely positioned without tools. The material properties ensure that the friction between silencer and protector keeps it securely in place once mounted.
Protectors of this type have proven themselves in tough motocross conditions – that’s what inspired us to develop one for the BMW R 12 G/S.
