Wunderlich Cardan Protector - High Protection for Cardan Housing and Joint On and Off-road
Perfect, appealingly crafted, solid protection for the exposed lower part of the lightweight aluminum cardan housing of the rear wheel drive, simultaneously covering the rear cardan joint and the immediate periphery. The complex shape of the two-millimeter-thick sheet of high-quality aluminum simultaneously protects against potential mechanical damage in the covered area from rock impacts from below or in case the bike should hit the ground or encounter obstacles off-road. This applies both on and off-road. The elaborate design of the protective cover, with stabilizing edges following the shape of the cardan housing. It integrates perfectly, remains discreet, yet adds a high-quality accent. This is a protective element already proven and tested in other model ranges, which can help reduce the risk of expensive secondary damage to the rear wheel drive. For uncomplicated maintenance, the oil drain screw of the cardan housing remains easily accessible. The solid three-point attachment is made to existing attachment points.
