Description
We’ve developed this Beach Bar handlebar especially for the BMW R 18. The handlebar ends are aligned towards the rider. With its moderate height increase it gives you and your Big Boxer a strikingly powerful appearance.
The BEACH BAR is not only perfect to ride, it also gives you secure handling and a pleasant seating position. The handlebar ends are ergonomically positioned. This means you always have control of your R 18, while riding and also while manoeuvring. The distinctive handlebar made of inch-thick, high-quality chrome-plated precision steel pipe gives the Big Boxer a new, unique look. It fits that the lines for the instruments and indicators can be moved into the handlebar pipes out of sight and thus making them invisible to the eye. The openings required for this are already provided. The original handlebar end weights can be screwed into the ends of the handlebar. The internal threads are already provided.
Alongside the handlebar itself, the delivery includes longer steel flex lines for the clutch and brakes as well as the necessary assembly material.
Note:
In order to mount the handlebar, the brake and clutch lines must be switched and then vented. Additionally, in order for the grips to be rotation locked, a specialist must drill holes first. We therefore recommend that the assembly only be performed by trained specialist personnel, or even better, by a workshop.
