Full-size features in an accessible youth off-road package. The RFN Warrior Youth SX-E2 is a 48V electric motorcycle created for developing riders ready to progress beyond smaller kids' bikes. Three power modes allow performance to be matched to experience, while the adjustable 600-690mm seat height gives the bike room to grow with its rider.
A 1kW permanent-magnet synchronous motor delivers up to 2.6kW peak power, 3.5hp and 80Nm of wheel torque through a direct chain drive. With the specified 13T/44T gearing, top speed is approximately 28mph. The removable Samsung-cell 48V 20Ah lithium-ion battery provides up to 16 miles of Eco-mode range at 15mph, depending on rider weight, terrain and conditions. A digital LCD speedometer keeps key riding information clearly visible.
The steel frame and swingarm are paired with 33mm upside-down hydraulic front suspension offering 160mm of travel and an RFN rear shock with 52mm of travel. Single-piston hydraulic brakes and 160mm discs are fitted front and rear. A power-cut safety lanyard provides added reassurance when the rider separates from the motorcycle, and the interchangeable battery makes it possible to extend riding sessions with an optional spare.
