We developed this product after a retail customer named Simon contacted us about an issue he was having. He sent us a photo showing the design flaw in what Harley had produced. This can be seen in the final photo on this product listing. Debris from the rear wheel can easily pass into the underside of the rider’s seat, creating an area for rust to develop. Our product is designed to prevent this issue from occurring.
