The Pyramid Chainguard Extension is designed to enhance the effectiveness of the original chainguard fitted to the Yamaha MT-09, Tracer 9 and XSR900. The OEM chainguard is relatively short and narrow, allowing excess chain lubricant and road grime to be thrown onto the rear of the motorcycle. Our extension increases the overall coverage area, helping to reduce oil fling onto the swingarm, rear bodywork and, in some cases, riding clothing—particularly after chain maintenance and lubrication.
Manufactured from durable ABS for long-lasting performance, the Chainguard Extension is quick and easy to install using either the supplied Stick Fit pads or rivets, depending on your preference. Each kit is supplied with all required fittings and comprehensive fitting instructions. No modification to your motorcycle is necessary.
