This luggage rack is engineered for dual functionality: it serves as a traditional rack for securing backpacks or bags via the perimeter slots and also supports mounting a compatible top case with its dedicated plate (not included). It features pre-installed plastic inserts in the strap holes to protect straps from wear during use.
